This is the third needle case I have made over the years. Is similar in design to the ones made previously, except they were fabricated from copper while this is stitched in leather. Leather is a forgiving material to work with and it's certainly convenient that it is fold-able making a hinge unnecessary. I do wish I could have just soldered together a little copper button stud though... instead I made use of cold connections by riveting a bit of hand carved bone to one side of the case front with a tiny copper washer on the other. Mostly pleased with the outcome!
